After wondering how long it would take for me to save up for a sewing machine, im getting one off freecycle, she got it 5yr ago and has only used it twice(for repairs)
Im well chuffed she is also gonna collect a safety gate we have as her westie has just had pups so she needs it to keep them in the room when they are all walking.
if you havent joined your local freecycle group, do it now Very Happy

I'm a member of Hullfreecycle and have just given away to new homes, 1 Auto washer, a calor gas heater, a gas cooker and my daughter has given away her calor gas heater and a pair of ice hockey skates. We haven't had anything off freecycle though but were glad that someone else could make use of the things we didn't need. So, I second your comment, if you haven't joined your local freecycle site - do it now!! I put my friend onto it, she lives in Inverness, she has joined too.

Freecycle is bleedin marvelous.
I'm a horder, I never throw out stuff that's no longer needed but to good for the bin, I've got rid of loads of unwanted stuff.
But best of all tho, I got a car for free last year, and it's well sweet to. Very Happy
