Anyone read any of the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles.

I am reading "Blackwood Farm" at the moment and enjoying it, I have recently read "The Mummy", also by Anne Rice and was hoping there would be a sequel to it - does anyone know if there is?? Wink

I have a couple of Anne Rice on order - Servant of the Bones and The Violin.

You should give it a go with The Mummy (Ramses the Damned), I couldn't put it down. Right at the end it leads you to believe that there is to be a sequel though but as yet I haven't been able to find out if there is. I will read Blood Canticle next, a trip to the library is called for!! Thanks for the info - Karen

No Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Just done some looking up and it would seem that The Mummy is a single novel - shame - I would have loved a sequel. Perhaps she could call it "The Mummy Returns"!!!!!!!!! Wink

Just finished 'Servant of the Bones', it was pretty good once it got going but hard work at first. A bit gory in parts, towards the beginning but hey, what do we expect from horror. Going to start 'The Violin' tomorrow as I need to finish Dean Koontz' 'The Taking' which I started before S of the B and put to one side.

Tell her not to bother with 'Violin' - I found it really boring. I have just finished 'Blood Canticle', pretty good. Just starting 'Vittorio the Vampire', let's see how this one is. I feel like I have read them all in the wrong order though.
