Its a very good classic Sci-Fi horror book.
Its mostly about tripods from Mars that came from the sky and torched everything. Its First person and is like a survival story.
I cant tell the end but go try this book. Ang get the original.

Seen both versions of the Movie, but never read the book (i know 'm big philistine), also the '80s musical version was a fave of mine on vinal as kid.
