ok to start, forget the film and read the book.
this is one of the most cutting and sometimes damning insights into a possible future. the references are realistic if not somewhat scary. there is also an intriguing underthread of how easily and obdviously led the human race is, how we will swallow anything that is fed to us and follow the path like a flock of sheep.
read understand then QUESTION.

yeah the film was crap and didn't come anywhere near the genius of Isaac Asimov. he was a sci-fi legend and can't be beaten in the genre.
