River Cottage

Think Hugh Fernley Whitenstall is great, I have all the river cottage books, nad really enjoy using the traditional recipes

He lives kinda near me at home, and on the programme I spend half the time asing my Dad where he is and why I recognise it! lol

A couple of series ago they were throwing painted eggs down a hill (oh the countryside hey? lol) and the silversmith who lives in my village (and who my boyfriends mum got to make me a necklace) was on there! lol

I've never bought any of his books, because I always find cookery books a bit pricey. Being a student on a budget, and only normally cooking for one it seems a bit of a waste!

I do have a book called Student Grub though, which is wicked! And I got The Soup Bible for xmas coz I make a lot of my own soups. I love it!

And now this post is very long, and not really relevant! lol

The only place we could roll eggs near here is on the Beverley Westwood and they would be full of cow c**p by the time they got to the bottom, but never mind there is a filthy, algae ridden water trough to wash them in when finished!!!!!
