Jacqueline WilsonThese have to be the best books ever for age 7+ Dealing with real life situations kids can find themselves in. I even read them myself when the kids have finished reading them

One of my dad's foster kids who has now moved on used to read these with a passion.... in the summer we were sat in the garden reading and she'd get through a book a day! She reminded me of myself when I was younger.
And I admit, I read one or two! lol

They're about all sorts of different things!!!
Maybe a bit girly, in terms of cover design etc, for a boy who's about to grow up and start worrying about looking cool.
She's the childrens laureat too i think

Yeah I would agree these books by her are brilliant and like real life situations for children!
I have read a few and they are really good! I think that girls who need problems solving can help some by reading these books.
Seeing as I have some I will post a bit about them so any mothers of girls 7+ might be intrested in getting some for their daughters.
I hope it might help.
