does anyone here do true crime? i had a fantastic book about the life of a hangman, it was like an autobiography about how he wanted the job, applied and training under albert pierrepoint, unfortunatly i leant it to my mum and she then leant it to a friend and i've never seen it since, not even in thebookshops

You should read 'The Book of Executions' by James Bland, to quote the front cover "A fascinating compendium of capital punishment" - not a bad book at all!!!
