Just thought I'd big up one of my fave fave authors of all time.
I read a couple of her books I didn't like a while ago, and it kinda put me off, but am back into her books again big time now!
Her books all involve a court case of some sort, which may seem long and tedious, but trust me, stick with it..
The first one I read (got me hooked) was plain truth. It's about an Amish girl who finds herself pregnant and is accused of killing her own baby.
(Sounds pants, but I can't say any more without ruining it)
My second favourite is My Sisters Keeper. About a girl who has kidney problems and her parents genetically engineer a baby in order to ensure she has the same bone marrow for transplanting. As the sister grows older however, she begins to feel that it is unfair and unjust for her parents to expect her to do whatever it takes for her sister to get better. (Again, can't say much more, but moving and lovely)
My most recent that I read between Thursday at 4pm and Saturday at 9am, whilst doing other things in between, was The Tenth Circle. Very interesting, about a girl who is raped by her recently ex boyfriend... lots of twists and turns, and a very good read, if a bit dark and disturbing in places.
So anyway, I love her books, and they are my top 3 that are worth a read!

Ok, I know nobody's replied and so probs no one cares, but I met Jodie Picoult!!!
She was doing a book signing in Smiths and I got to go... she was really lovely and I have a signed copy of her new hardback for me, and a signed copy of plain truth for my stepmum's birthday because she lost her original copy.
